Memories happen at Cozy Cabin, a nature retreat, nestled on Pine Mountain in North Carolina, where life can not be finer! Bring your family and enjoy all the comforts of home (central air and heat), in a natural habitat! Cozy Cabin is in a golfing and gated community, providing a secluded and safe environment.
There is a playground for the children, tennis courts and a barbeque pit area to enjoy down by the creek, plus miles of trails to explore. We recommend hiking boots, mountain bikes, golf clubs, running shoes, bathing suits, tennis rackets, and your off for a day of adventure!
The master bedroom is on the main floor, and the queen-size bed will provide hours of restful sleep. Log steps will bring you to the loft, where there are two twin-size beds for those littler folks in the family! A large bathroom, with relaxing shower, plus a convenient washer and dryer are at your fingertips.
The kitchen is complete with stove, oven, microwave, refrigerator, dishwasher, pots, pans, dishes, silverware, toaster, coffee pot and other things to make your stay at Cozy Cabin, healthy and homey. It will be your home away from home!
The sunroom provides comfort on cold winter days or hot summer days, allowing the vacationer to enjoy the outside scenery! Watch the thunderstorms move in, or when the snow begins to fall! You will connect with your inner self!
The living room has a television with local channels, VCR and DVD. There are movies to watch, but please bring your own. The gas fireplace will keep you cozy!
There are two decks to lounge and watch the birds. Hummingbirds are in season from late April until September. You will not want to miss those endearing little birds. Deer and turkey run wild. You will discover them in the most unusual places! And, what would a natural habitat be without those charming songbirds, and the occasional owl? A gas grill is provided to enjoy your nature loving holiday! Bring some books, your favorite movies, and enjoy your time to be refreshed and renewed. Learn to enjoy life again! It is your personal private retreat to recreate your innerself!
South Mountain State Park is the largest state park, and it is Pine Mountain's neighbor! These mountains are part of the spectacular Blue Ridge Mountain chain. There are several ways you can get to South Mountain from Pine Mountain, where you will enjoy waterfalls, fly fishing, nature trails, laurels, pines, and dogwoods. Wildflowers dance in the wind, along with other flowering greenery. If you enjoy hiking, you will appreciate the miles of trails! If you enjoy birds, this is your paradise! If you just want to get away from it all, sip a glass of wine, relax and play golf...well, this is your get-a-way!
Buzzard's Roost is a landmark on the mountain (a mile down the street from the cabin) where you can see clear to Charlotte! Pack your lunch, and use the picnic table at the overlook to take in all the views! There are miles of trails to walk, run or ride mountain bikes. Spring and Summer offers beautiful wild flowers and trees in bloom. In the Fall and Winter, the deer and turkey are plentiful! The gamelands are a mile away from Cozy. This is a good place to hunt or watch nature at its best and take in the trees colored in orange, yellow and red! Check out the Cozy's pictures. Oh, by-the-way, Pine Mountain is not a tourist area!
